Job Description:

As a Senior Revit/CAD Technician at PBS Engineers, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and production of design drawings and models in the MEP+ industry. You will collaborate with engineers to bring projects to life and provide guidance to other Revit/CAD designers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating with designers to produce fully coordinated design drawings across multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Information Technology.
• Ensuring that Revit/CAD drawing efforts align with company and client BIM/CAD standards and styles.
• Preparing plans, sections, diagrams, and detail drawings for various processes specific to MEP disciplines.
• Working with Revit models, families, and CAD-based files for use in contract documents production.
• Collaborate with clients, attend meetings, and prepare client communications while working to achieve project milestones.

Qualifications and Skills: 

Required:

• 5-10 years of experience using Revit knowledge and AutoCAD skills in design drawing production for MEP.
• Proven experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
• 3 years of experience working with Autodesk (Bim360/ACC) cloud-based projects.

Preferred Qualifications (not required but beneficial):

• Professional certification or degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in other CAD/BIM software. (e.g. BimLink, Axiom, others)
• Some experience working with Navisworks.
• Proficiency working with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior CAD designers.
