Position Summary
Under direct supervision, assist staff Aircraft Maintenance Technician(s) in the performance of aircraft and facilities maintenance needs related to the BNT International corporate flight operation.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the performance of aircraft related ground servicing and handling operations to include aircraft post/pre-flight inspections and detailing, detailing and more detailing.
• Assists with aircraft towing and positioning operations for purposes of departures and arrivals and/or for hangar arranging purposes.
• Assists with the coordination and oversight of aircraft fueling operations.
• Assists with all aspects of customer/passenger support needs to include ramp access, baggage handling and personal vehicle parking and logistics.
• Where appropriate and based on the level of FAA license currently held (with or without an A&P license), with direct supervision may assist staff technicians in the performance of appropriate level Aircraft Maintenance and repair tasks to include working minor due list tasks, preventive maintenance, general servicing, lav and water system servicing and minor squawk troubleshooting and repair.
• Perform appropriate hangar and shop facilities repairs, maintenance and detailing as required.
• Available to work any of the above listed responsibilities not only during typical business hours but also at off-hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with all BNT Flight Operations staff to include Maintenance, Flight Crew members and Dispatch.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with any appropriate BNT Flight Operations vendors to include local fixed base operator (FBO), fuel vendors, hangar services providers and other on field operators.
• As appropriate, maintain a professional and supportive relationship with the principal aircraft user group to include principals from Bechtel, Fremont and guests of.

Qualifications and Skills

Basic Qualifications

• Must hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license (A&P rating) or enrolled in or plan to enroll in a program to obtain same.
• Prior corporate flight department or line service experience helpful but not mandatory.
• Confident and proficient communication skills (verbal, written and technology based).
• Confident and proficient with computer-based programs and technology.
• Live within a 1-hour drive time of the Oakland International Airport/North Field.
• Passion for the aircraft and the supporting industry.
