Who We Are Looking For:
As a Senior Retail Planner at Gerber Childrenswear, you will be a key player working with the cross-functional team to drive sales by leveraging data analytics and maintaining profitability.
What You'll Do:
- Providing data-driven insights to influence the deployment of key initiatives, and strategies, that directly impact business outcomes.
- Evaluating and reviewing business performance through analytics to understand what's working and not working, forecast results, and provide actionable insights.
- Developing strategic partnerships by collaborating with diverse internal and external teams to pinpoint areas for enhancement and work together on effective solutions.
- Communicating effectively to achieve leadership alignment and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Skillfully navigating across multiple cross-functional stakeholders and competing key performance indicators, all aimed at enhancing business results.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the apparel or retail industry. Walmart experience preferred (Retail Link, DSS, Luminate)
- You are forward-thinking and adept at swiftly grasping the entirety of problems to devise creative solutions.
- Your influence extends to evaluating intricate decisions and process enhancements, employing effective storytelling to educate and inspire alignment among others.
- You are a self-starter, who excels in adapting to the dynamic retail landscape.
- You have a profound understanding of financials is a notable strength, particularly in your ability to translate information into easily understandable insights and tactic.
- You have experience in APPAREL or other SKU-intensive businesses.
- Proven experience in retail planning, category manager, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced levels of Excel and/or other planning tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
