GENERAL SUMMARY
Travel to various branches within assigned region to promote and support superior customer service and for monitoring/maintaining the quality of the operational activities within assigned region. Work closely with Deposit Operations Administration-Branch Services department for all branch operational procedures, and other areas within Deposit Operations Administration for problems or issues relating to audits, security, personnel, losses, or service. May provide recommendations to Deposit Operations Administration for improved branch procedures and/or changes. Responsible for ensuring that assigned branches comply with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable laws/regulations. Maintain operational integrity for all branches within assigned Region. Operates with a leadership style that consistently demonstrates effective communication and empowerment. Supports region with service and sales objectives. Leads by example and manages through change and adversity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Works with the District Administrator or Regional Manager to ensure the operational integrity of assigned branches.
- Manages all operations activities and employees through subordinates, usually the branch Customer Service and Sales Manager/or supervisor. Works together to balance operational controls and customer service to minimize risk.
- Identifies deficiencies and issues by conducting mini reviews in areas of operations, new accounts, and processes. Provides reinforcement training and implements an action plan to ensure the quality and proper procedures/controls are in place.
- Monitors and ensures that policy/compliance standards are met by use of established mini reviews and follow-up.
- Assists with remediation of any audit findings. Coordinates responses to operational audits and ensures resolution to audit exceptions especially for any repeat findings.
- Maintains a strong working knowledge of the Bank products and services, reporting, policy, and procedures.
- Ensures that all branch functions are adequately staffed by training and cross-training personnel, and that all duties are performed in a timely, accurate and complete manner.
- Provides coverage for branches as needed and account opening whenever necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: College Degree preferred.
- Experience: Min. 5-7 years of Branch operations experience or experience in a similar capacity required. Previous experience as an Operations Officer preferred. Thorough knowledge of branch banking, operations, loss prevention, loss investigation, production management and Federal and State laws and regulations. Excellent leadership skills a must.
- Skills/Ability: Availability to work any shift matching the branch banking hours and/or staffing needs. A willingness to work a flexible schedule. A willingness to travel within a 30-50-mile radius to multiple locations as business needs arise. Analytical and research; planning, organizing, and controlling; demonstrated leadership; innovative and able to adjust quickly; must be able to influence others and committed to make changes; PC Proficient including Excel and Word.

$33.65 - $38.46 / hour
Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
