Job Summary:
- Build and maintain relationships with commercial supporters to ensure strong exchange and understanding of Vindico capabilities, experience, and successes while ensuring greater depth of potential supporter needs and interests.
- Identify potential opportunities for grant funding; qualify these opportunities as they relate to budget, educational goals, preferred deliverable formats, timing, and expected outcomes data and insights.
- Develop EDUCATIONAL STRATEGY to ensure that grant requests are developed to meet the interests of supporters and the needs of clinicians and patients while aligning with Vindico's educational priorities.
- Oversee the generation of grant proposals, representing business development interests while reviewing details of needs assessments, EDUCATIONAL STRATEGY, rationale for proposed program deliverables, and selection of outcomes.
- Ensure identified opportunities are addressed quickly and within the required timelines of potential supporters.
- Work closely with Grant Development, Program Management, Audience Generation/Marketing, Finance, and key members of the organization to develop new products and integrated educational programs.
- Research and consider new sources of funding outside of traditional pharma commercial support.
- Identify and coordinate EDUCATIONAL STRATEGY and deliverables with strategic partners, including technology platforms, patient advocacy groups, and medical associations
- Participate in business development presentations, industry conference, and other activities promoting proposed and submitted grant requests and Vindico's capabilities.
- Maintain and contribute to up-to-date presentations for meetings with commercial supporters and partners.
- Manage cross functional teams and external partners toward common objectives
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand understanding within assigned therapeutic areas to increase educational opportunities.
- Build relationships with topic experts and KOLs in assigned therapeutic areas to build and strengthen personal and organizational expertise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experienced business development/educational strategist for expanding CME business. Qualifications include proven track record in securing CME grant funding, providing oversight of funded CME activities, and have established relationships with grant management and medical affairs teams at pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies.

Education and Experience:
- Advanced degree (MA, MS, PhD, MD, PharmD) not required, but an advantage; equivalent education and/or industry experience required
- CCMEP is a plus but not required
Knowledge and Abilities:
- In depth knowledge of pharmaceutical companies, particularly in the therapeutic space in which the Educational Strategist is assigned
- Familiarity with adult education principles and CME regulations
- Understanding of basic clinical science research and statistics
- Knowledge of clinical trials and supporters' interest for educational grants and RFPs
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Strong organization, planning, and account management skills
- In-depth knowledge of the updated ACCME criteria and standards of commercial support
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
- Travel is required 40% of time.
- Ability to drive up to 3 hours.
The salary range of $141,000 to $168,000. Placement within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, knowledge, skills, education, years and level of experience, and equity with internal team members.
