Fast forward to today, Steer by Mechanic Advisor has launched a complete Customer Relationship Management (CRM) marketing suite, complete with text messaging, email automation, direct mail integration, reputation management, appointment reminders, declined/recommended services, and many other features. About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Recruiter to join Steer at a time of rapid growth. You'll be a trusted advisor and partner to our Product, Engineering, Sales and Success teams, helping to refine and champion our recruiting practices. As the first recruiter in the US during a dynamic phase of our company's expansion, you'll have the chance to introduce innovative tools, enhance our processes, and play a key role in advancing our recruiting capabilities stateside.
This is a 6-month temporary role, with the potential of becoming permanent. You will be a full-time employee and eligible for benefits on day 1.
You Will
- Identify and engage with potential candidates using diverse channels, ensuring a good match with role requirements and ideal candidate profiles. Collaborate with hiring managers and employ strategic sourcing strategies to attract candidates.
- Coordinate interview schedules by setting up and confirming appointments between candidates and hiring teams.
- Conduct initial phone or video screenings to evaluate candidate alignment for the role. Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems to efficiently track and manage candidate progress. Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for future job opportunities.
- Negotiate employment terms with candidates in the final stage of the hiring process in alignment with the company's compensation philosophy.
- Analyze existing recruitment processes to pinpoint inefficiencies. Recommend and implement new processes and tools to enhance our hiring process and the candidate experience.
- Develop and promote the company's employer value proposition to attract top talent. Manage and enhance the career page and recruitment-related social media profiles. Monitor employer brand perception and the performance of recruitment marketing strategies.
You Have
Must Have:
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience
- 1+ years of sales/business recruiting experience
- 3+ years of in-house experience
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms.
- Proficient in crafting effective sourcing campaigns and A/B testing
- Knowledge of employment law and hiring regulations
- Knowledge of recruitment metrics and funnel conversion rates
- Skill in negotiating employment terms and compensation packages
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment targets
