Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for our team. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of new features, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will extend to supporting and identifying areas for improvement in existing features. The Senior QA Engineer will lead the development of the testing program, creating test cases, test data, and executing tests. Your role will involve resolving complex problems with sound judgment based on experience, and you may occasionally assist in orienting, training, and reviewing the work of peers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team with all aspects of software testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Dedicate yourself to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Utilize customer information for continuous improvement in products and services.
  • Spend time efficiently on what's important, quickly identifying actions that contribute to goal accomplishment. Eliminate roadblocks and create focus for effective outcomes.
  • Skillfully negotiate in tough situations with both internal and external groups. Settle differences with minimum noise, gaining trust quickly and exhibiting a good sense of timing.
  • Effectively cope with change, shift gears comfortably, and decide and act without having the total picture. Handle risk and uncertainty with confidence.
  • Possess functional and technical knowledge and skills at a high level. Learn technical aspects quickly and excel in acquiring new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge, such as Internet technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology,
  • 6-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Clear verbal and written communication to facilitate effective conversations with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in testing systems at all levels, including UI, component, integration, system, end-to-end, and regression.
  • Ability to assess tasks for optimal testing approaches and apply them throughout different project phases.
  • Proficient in reviewing requirements, documenting test results, and maintaining test plans.
  • Prior experience in breaking down larger projects, delegating work, and mentoring team members.
  • Ability to estimate work accurately and complete testing efforts on time.
  • Extensive experience working in an Agile environment with SCRUM processes and tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with testing standards and trends, with the ability to engage, influence, and derive action from this knowledge.
