Senior Project Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead IT integration and implementation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful day-to-day interactions with senior and mid-level managers, project stakeholders, and consultants. The role involves motivating and leading a diverse team of IT professionals, ensuring effective communication, and delivering high-quality project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate day-to-day interaction with senior and mid-level managers, project stakeholders, and consultants.
• Lead and motivate the project team, fostering a positive work environment.
• Demonstrate excellent written communication skills for project documentation and addressing customer expectations.
• Utilize strong verbal communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team and communicate with non-technically oriented customers.
• Maintain open channels of communication between project teams, Subject Matter Experts, Stakeholders, and management.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to fulfill business needs through systems integration and implementation efforts.
• Lead the team in defining and documenting system functional specifications based on business requirements.
• Coordinate system requirements documentation and organize participation of user groups and project support staff.
• Establish user interest, support, and acceptance for the project.
• Solicit involvement of stakeholders and other users in the creation and review of project deliverables.
• Create required project documentation as specified by the Technology Services Division.
• Update and maintain project work breakdown structure, requirements matrix, and stakeholder matrices.
• Manage project issues log, risk log, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain detailed project work plans using standard IT project management tools (Sparx Enterprise Architect, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Office).
• Update and maintain project Work Breakdown Structures, resource plans, work schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee project change control and issue/risk resolution processes and logs.
• Identify, document, and communicate changes to project scope, schedule, or budget.
• Coordinate system Organization Change Management.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of required system training.

Basic Qualification:

• Experience collaborating with state government entities is a valuable asset for this role.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT integration and implementation.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Sparx Enterprise Architect, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Office).
• Familiarity with Organization Change Management processes.
• Ability to coordinate and oversee system training initiatives.
