Senior Project Consultant - Microsoft

We are actively seeking a Senior Project Consultant - Microsoft. The Senior Project Consultant is responsible for the successful delivery of complex technology-enabled projects and services to Mid-Market and Enterprise customers.  The Networking Engineer will work with clients throughout the solution lifecycle to plan, design and deploy technology solutions that meet aggressive delivery schedules, complex technical specifications, and high-level requirements.

Most client engagements are remote but occasionally may be asked to travel onsite to the client location, especially at the beginning of the Project.

Preferably located in Nevada.

Baseline Skills we do every day.

• Messaging – Experience Managing Exchange Online Servers (All Exchange versions)
• Migration- AD Migration, Messaging Migration from Google Workspace, Exchange Online and other messaging services
• Microsoft Entra ID Cloud computing experience
• Microsoft Microsoft Entra ID AD, On-prem Active Directory, AD Assessment, AD Health, and Troubleshooting
• Security and Compliance, Experience with All MS Defender Products
• Troubleshooting Microsoft 365 Features – OneDrive, SharePoint/
• Migration Tools from BitTitan, Quest, and others.

Additional Skills:

• Microsoft Entra ID Virtual Desktop
• MS Teams Voice
• SQL Database migration to Microsoft Entra ID a plus (Microsoft Entra ID Migrate, DMS, etc.)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Implements the pre-approved Statements of Work (“SOWs”) and delivers the project on time and within scope.
• Follows approved Arctiq and project management methodology, ensuring that required steps are followed, deliverables are produced, and approvals are obtained from the appropriate parties.
• Maintains responsibility for project/program issue resolution, escalating to the Project Manager when necessary.
• Participates in project/customer kickoff meetings, status reports, and
• Reports weekly on project progress and accomplishments to the Project Manager
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues during implementation to ensure on-time results within scope.
• Notifies the Manager and Project Manager when project requirements are moving beyond scope.
• Assesses the impact of additional customer requests and reports the request to the Manager, and Project Manager who may need to reevaluate the SOW (Scope of Work).
• Verifies alignment to Arctiq quality standards and projects.
• Responsible for entering all work as activities or service tickets and submitting weekly time sheets and expense reports in the project management software.

Similar MS Certification below or passed any of the following exams:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert

Or passed any of the following exams:

• AZ-700
• AZ-104
• AZ-305

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other similar related field and 6 years of industry experience in related Practice technologies
• 8 years of industry experience in related Practice technologies in lieu of degree
• Experience with on-premises AD Migrations, Messaging migrations, Data Migrations
• Extensive knowledge, experience, and deep understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure) Services, Infrastructure design, and Architecture (Microsoft Entra ID Identity Design, Governance, Security, all flavors of Defender, Microsoft Entra ID Networking, Analytics Platform, SQL)
• Experience in SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Tenant-to-Tenant Migration

Personal skills:

• Able to communicate efficiently and effectively with various levels of internal and external employees effective and timely documentation skills.
• Able to work independently as well in a team environment.
