Senior Production Manager - Direct Hire - To $110K!

An exciting opportunity for a result driven, team-oriented Senior Production Manager in Hamburg NJ. 

Responsibilities:

•    Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
•    Reviews, analyzes, and develops staffing plans, requests, and hires new Teammates in line with authorized staffing levels, prepares and communicates Teammate work schedules and ensures Ames will meet customer delivery schedules with maximum efficiency at minimum cost.
•    Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
•    Maintains machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
•    Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
•    Resolve worker grievances or submit unsettled grievances to Human Resources for proper resolution.
•    Compiles, stores, analyses production data.
•    Manage the production team to coordinate and cooperate smoothly with engineering, facilities engineering & management, quality assurance, and technology/product development.
•    Closely collaborate with Production Development, Sales, Business Development, R&D / Technology, and Engineering in the design and development of new products.
•    Creates a work environment and culture that promotes quality and efficiency and ensures continuous improvement and meeting the needs of the customer and company values.

 Requirements:
•    Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field. (Preferred)
•    4+ years of production management experience in a manufacturing environment. (Required)
•    Ability to read and understand blueprints.  (Required)
•    Must be a US citizen (Required) 
•    ISO 9001 or AS9100 background or knowledge (Required)
