The role of the Senior Product Marketing Manager:

We are in search of a seasoned Senior Product Marketing Managerto spearhead our efforts in equipping our sales teams with the marketing tools and resources they need to enhance their sales process, improve conversion rates, and decrease time to close. This role is pivotal in bridging marketing and sales, focusing on creating impactful tools and content, refining Product Marketing strategies, and implementing other marketing initiatives to enable sellers to close deals more effectively and efficiently. This role does not own direct sales management or demand generation. This role is 30% leading the strategy for sales enablement and 70% execution, with support from other teammates on Marketing and Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Enablement and Content Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a robust sales enablement strategy, focusing on tools, decreasing drop-off points, and building valuable content to support the sales process.
    • Craft high-quality, persuasive sales materials such as presentations, brochures, product data sheets, and FAQs to enhance product understanding and customer engagement.
  • Product Marketing Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the product team to ensure sales teams are equipped with up-to-date product information and competitive insights.
    • Translate complex product features into clear, compelling value propositions tailored for sales conversations.
  • Sales Communication and Training:
    • Facilitate effective communication channels between marketing and sales teams.
    • Organize and conduct training sessions to keep the sales team updated on new marketing materials and strategies.
  • Marketing-Sales Alignment:
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to align on brand messaging and ensure consistency across all sales materials.
    • Participate in strategy meetings to provide marketing insights that can support sales objectives.
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales enablement tools and strategies, and adjust approaches based on feedback and performance metrics.

You'll excel at this role if you have:

  • Expertise in B2B marketing and sales processes and the challenges faced by sellers.
  • Proficiency in B2B marketing and sales enablement software.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales enablement or related marketing role, majority in B2B marketing and sales roles.
  • Strong expertise in creating impactful sales content and marketing collateral.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet quick turnaround times and strict deadlines.
  • Excitement about working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a willingness to strategize and implement new processes.
  • A solution-oriented mindset, you are assertive, a quick thinker, and meticulous.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

Bonus if you have the following:

  • Knowledge of the childcare industry, HR, and employee benefits.
  • Previous startup experience, bonus if it has been in tech.
