Are you someone who's a dynamic news producer with strong editorial judgment? Do you have experience interfacing with high-level guests and talent? Are you excited about the evolving news industry? If so, this role is for you. The Senior Producer, Live Events will support a new venture within MSNBC, launching into the Live Events space, by helping elevate the already renowned MSNBC talent. The ideal candidate is a go-getter and willing to try new things.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Executive Producer on editorial for Live Events
- Oversee booking of guests and voices for Live Events and curated discussions
- Write and produce segments
- Coordinate distribution of Live Events and related content
Note: this role is based in New York or Washington, D.C.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of senior/line producing experience
- 5+ years of working in control rooms/fast-paced environments
- Strong writing skills
- Expert communication skills
- Experience with high-level talent and guests
- Flexibility and adaptability to new technology
