Senior Planning Specialist (Associate Or Vp)

International financial company seeks a VP or Associate, Senior Planning Specialist to support the senior management to implement and execute the business strategy and internal controls, including relevant financial matters, group company contracts, reporting to our Tokyo Head Office, and various derivatives-related projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage budget preparation, managerial accounting, expense control, etc.
  
• Participate in project management including establishing new business platform, reorganizations, new systems, regulatory preparation etc.
  
• Support tasks related to group company contracts, like service level agreements.
  
• Provide strategic reporting to the Tokyo Head Office, company management, and other group entities.
  
• Effectively collaborate on meetings & discuss key topics with internal stakeholders and management teams.
  

• Bilingual Japanese language skills (verbal & written) required for communication with Tokyo head office.
  
• Strong project management skills, including 7+ years of relevant Financial Services experience.
  
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, and financial products including derivatives.
  
• High degree of attention to details and an ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner against strict deadlines.
  
• Excellent communication skills;
  
• Ability to work well with internal departments across various departments and group entities.
  
• Motivated, self-driven and takes personal ownership on delivering to the highest quality.
