Senior Payroll Specialist

Century Group has partnered with a nonprofit organization who is seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant. This is an onsite position located in Oakland. This is a temp to hire position. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $35 to $45 per hour.
Job Description:

• Experience in resolving payroll errors and discrepancies while being able to record the corrections and recording payroll expenses and accruals to the general ledger in accordance with GAAP
• Reviews timesheets and processes bi-monthly payroll for 200+ employees through ADP Workforce Now
• Maintains and updates holidays annually, earnings codes, and shift differentials in ADP
• Ensures proper processing of payroll taxes, benefits, and garnishment deductions

Experience:

• Nonprofit industry experience
• ADP WFN experience
