What you'll be doing...
Our success depends on the quality of our network. We expect great things for our system, and you'll be using drive data and trouble ticket reports to spot problem areas and recommend fixes. And when system problems occur, or a customer reports an issue, you'll investigate and find a resolution. Help us deliver on our promise to customers-the ability to make and maintain clear, uninterrupted connections.

• Analyzing our network's capacity and coverage, and looking for ways to make improvements.
• Implementing various system performance improvement plans.
• Recommending and evaluating the impact of new cells.
• Monitoring and analyzing call trending data to ensure service levels are met and maintained.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting system problems.
• Working closely with other disciplines within the region utilizing strong communication skills to articulate priorities relating to the 5G/LTE network's performance.
• Partnering with RF Engineering to help drive best-in-class RF network design to achieve the performance objectives.
• Continuing to provide the best network in the industry as measured by Root Metrics and other benchmarking metrics.
• Working with Customer Service & the NRB to provide timely analysis and resolution of customer tickets.
• Maintaining a strong relationship with the Sales organization by supporting them as necessary to establish and maintain confidence in Network superiority.
• Working with other internal departments to set policies and procedures to enhance trouble resolution time. Working closely with Operations/Network Assurance to quickly resolve network-impacting issues.
• Coordinating intersystem optimization.

What we're looking for...
Never satisfied with the status quo, you thrive on continuous improvement. You have a strong domain experience in performance management tools, call processing, RF planning, and all aspects of cellular networks. You enjoy the process of solving complex issues while empowering the team around you to do the same.
You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work some nights and/or weekends.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience with one of the major RAN equipment vendors - Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung
• Solid RF Design/Optimization experience.
• Working knowledge in 5G, either in RF Design or System Performance.
• Knowledge of System Performance tools like Airwave, RTT, xLPT, Truecall, VSON
• A strong/expert working knowledge of LTE and VoLTE Platforms.
• Experience with RF propagation tools and radio test equipment, like DMAT, Irisview, Accuver, Windcatcher/Actix/TEMS Discovery or RF Scanners.
• Understanding of RF engineering concepts and principles including intermodulation, distortion, interference detection, and mitigation techniques.
• Understanding of antenna characteristics or antenna system design and selection.
• A team player with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of LTE and VoLTE.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $90,000.00 and $167,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
