Senior Network Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTIONSkiltrek is looking for a NETWORK ENGINEER to work as part of a regional and global team participating in designing, implementing, and testing network infrastructure in support of our internal, external customer needs. This person will work to urgently analyze technical issues, address Tier 2 & 3 escalations, work with management, and troubleshoot over the phone/onsite/via remote access. This role holds significant responsibility for providing robust, scalable technology platforms and reliable services to ensure the ongoing performance of the company IT systems. This person will be expected to assist in the management of Layer 2 and 3 protocols including routers and switches. They will focus on sustaining the necessary data by monitoring network activity to mitigate performance problems. They will also need to implement AWS solutions for network connectivity across multiple availability zones, on premise datacenters and other VPC's.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS5+ years' experience of working in a Global IT Organization as a Network Engineer
Experience managing Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco Devices
AWS Virtual Private Cloud experience
Experience monitoring and deploying patches to routers and switches (BGP preferred)
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite and other ERP systems, such as Oracle
Experience with Fortinet, Fortigate, or similar
Knowledge of SolarWinds or similar network monitoring toolsDESIRED SKILLSITILv3 Foundation
CCNP, CCDA, CCSP, CCIE (One or more preferred)
