The Industry Team sits within the Americas Central Marketing Organization (CMO), which is part of Microsoft Americas Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team. SE&O plays an essential role in translating Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy into local execution plan that drives operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible.
As the Senior Marketing Manager, Americas Education Industry, you will lead, develop, and execute integrated marketing plans across targeted business outcomes. You will also be a valued as part of the Health and Public Sector Industries team that defines and orchestrates the industry integrated marketing plan across the business. This role requires thoughtful and well executed project management and collaboration across the numerous stakeholders engaged within the industry.

Responsibilities
- Develops and implements integrated end-to-end marketing plans aligned to targeted business outcomes for the Americas Education Industry.
- Collaborates with local teams including product Marketing Managers, communications and PR, sales, legal and compliance, finance, and business operations to establish the appropriate marketing plan.
- Ensures local marketing plan leverages Microsoft's Global Demand Center (GDC) strategy and capabilities to drive business priorities via local marketing engines. Aligns marketing tactics to marketing objectives and relevant metrics.
- Lands national and regional events and campaigns to the global-event framework, leveraging appropriate target lists and digital tools.
- Leverages and interprets reports and metrics for their impact on the Americas region. Delivers and optimizes marketing plan based on insights and leverages corporate targeting, segmentation tools to to continually update and improve customer experiences.
- Aligns marketing plan with critical company focuses such as privacy, accessibility, and compliance.
- Analyzes marketing performance through a regular rhythm of business and business review meetings to identify and share insights that may affect marketing and business planning decision making.
- Provides data-driven insights leveraging available Global Demand Center (GDC) tools and dashboards to optimize marketing strategy and delivery.
- Incorporates inclusive marketing and accessibility principles, best practices, and tools in the execution of marketing initiatives.
- Maintains and reviews marketing-related spend against planned estimates. Assists with any marketing budget or spend management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience
- OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years field marketing experience focused on supporting enterprise sales organization for cloud solutions
- 3+ years experience in education and public sector within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of the marketing technology landscape of B2B and account-targeted platforms and tools
- Executive presence and ability to collaborate with and influence senior leaders, sales teams and non-technical audiences
- Ability to drive results from ambiguity, work with subject matter experts to derive and prioritize measurement gaps and opportunities
- Effective and influential communicator, coalition builder and team player; knows how to build organizational support, collaboration and credibility across multiple functions within the company.
