You will manage high-quality, cost-effective distribution services for Mondelez products through 3rd party providers. You will develop, implement, and manage all distribution requirements of Mondelez and its customers throughout the RDC network. In this role, you will act as the liaison for the RDC network defining and analyzing network metrics, implementing cost control measures, and performing audits to provide the required level of customer service and budgeted cost performance.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Develop and implement budgeting and financial controls by monitoring plant distribution third party operations and processes and defining network metrics for the operations teams to attain all cost and service goals.
- Analyze, define, and implement control measures, scorecards, audit programs, and standard operating procedures to ensure all Mondelez requirements are met across the distribution network.
- Conduct operations audits of RDCs to ensure compliance with all Mondelez policies and procedures and develop corrective action plans as needed.
- Facilitate meetings with multiple cross functional teams comprised of inventory management, transportation, customer service, and production operations to define, develop, and implement goals across the network as well as manage day to day supply chain issues.
- Provide diplomatic negotiating skills and problem solving with multiple functional parties daily, in what can sometimes be a challenging environment.
- Manage the RDCs in region and third-party activity and responsibility in any quality events (holds, recalls, destroy product) in order to mitigate Mondelez exposure to risk.
- Conduct on-site training at plant RDCs in product handling and rotation, Quality testing (e.g., temperature, physical appearance) and repack of damaged goods.
- Act as a distribution operations resource or liaison across functions providing new ideas, polices or procedures; to improve quality and service.
- Special Projects as required.

- Establish accountabilities and processes to ensure required levels of productivity and organizational objectives.

What you need to know about this position: This is a Senior Manager level position. The ideal candidate will have15 years of distribution center Operations Management, third-party Operations Management, third-party relationship management, and P&L responsibility for distribution budgets exceeding $30M.
