Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations

About the team

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a new and fast-growing team at Angi. The head of Angi's Marketplace vertical launched the Pro Success & Retention team to manage the experience of our Service Providers on the platform, and grow a ~$1B P&L.

The Senior Manager of Pro Success Strategy will work directly with the VP of Pro Success to drive Service Providers growth and success on the platform by diving into the data to find opportunities for improvement, putting together business cases, and driving large cross-functional change. You will devise strategy, build frameworks, structure solutions, manage projects and drive & measure results in the most critical areas of the business.

In this role, you will own and/or support impactful Pro related strategic priorities; work with research, analytics, operations and product teams to identify test ideas and execute. You will be expected to know our Service Providers inside and out, and serve as a critical thought partner to VP of Pro Success and beyond.

What you'll do

• Independently own key strategic initiatives (or critical work streams within it) from initial concept through execution and success measurement
• Alongside the VP of Pro Success and an all-star team of peers and stakeholders, steer quantitative and qualitative research efforts into financial and operational drivers of Pro success and inform decision-making
• Build clear and concise presentations that summarize your findings and lead to clear recommendations
• Provide thought partnership to the Pro Success and Retention team and cross-functional partners
• Program manage large strategic changes that involve many teams and span multiple months, building cross-functional buy-in and collaboration, and providing updates and impact to senior leadership

Who you are

• 5-8 years of professional experience in consulting, finance, strategy, business development or operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in related field required
• Data-driven with strong analytical and execution background - demonstrated experience gathering data from various sources and driving strategic insight and decision-making
• Management consulting experience at a top firm strongly preferred, startup experience is a plus
• Self-starter; owner; someone who can manage and execute projects to completion
• Maintain a careful balance between attention to detail and swift execution
• Thrives with ambiguity and has a strong bias for action
• Strong communication skills
• Team player; collaborates and influences effectively with cross-functional team members across the organization
• Has a strong interest in Angi, home services, marketplaces and product-driven organizations

Compensation & Benefits

• The salary band for this position ranges $110,000 - $150,000commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living
