Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to join our Strategic Finance team. Reporting to the VP, Strategic Finance, Planning and Analysis, this position will lead organic investment due diligence (DCF & business case), supply chain analysis, capital allocation analysis, commercial analysis, operational analysis, and other strategic business analysis activities for The Company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage managers, analysts and/or project resources as assigned by the VP, Strategic Finance, Planning & Analysis
- Lead the transformation of data into information, information into insights and insights into value creation
- Lead due diligence (DCF & business case) for all large and major capital projects across The Company
- Through leading ongoing tool development, quantitative analysis, KPIs and insights generation, inform business decisions and improvement priorities which maximize value creation
- Lead strategic analysis of industry/market economics and company financial/operating results
- Develop and lead capital allocation methodology and supporting activities for The Company
- Support multiple large and complex, strategic in nature projects that have a high degree of scope and risk, on time and within budget
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, including executives, managers and peers
- Lead other strategic initiatives, projects and questions as assigned by The Company
- Perform all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, engineering, accounting, or related STEM field required
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing analysts required
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning, business analysis, strategy or M&A required
- Ability to multi-task, support multiple customers/assignments and adapt in a dynamic environment required
- Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment required
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time required
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, interpersonal and communications skills required
- Advanced excel and power point skills required
