Elevate our sustainability agenda with your retail expertise, shaping the future of our eco-stores with measurable impact!
Core Responsibilities
  • Translate corporate sustainability strategies into specific roadmaps/tactical plans for LEGO Retail owned and operated stores
  • Set relevant goals and targets and seek LEGO Retail senior management engagement and approval
  • Ensure robust follow-up procedure on agreed goals/targets and report regularly to key partners
  • Drive and act as Project Manager on the key sustainability activities portfolio within LEGO Retail
  • Ensure yearly data collection process is completed on electricity, waste and water across the LEGO Branded Retail Stores (LBRs)
  • Display strong continuous improvement approach to enhance overall data collection process and tool box
  • Provide input to next level waste strategy for the LEGO Branded Retail Stores (LBRs)
  • Act as focal point and representing LEGO Retail in working groups across the LEGO Group and towards Environmental Responsibilities
  • Set the future strategic direction for eco-stores in terms of concept design, fixture development and construction for execution in countries based on local regulations

Do you have what it takes?
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role either from large retail organizations or consultancy
  • Thorough understanding of several sustainability domains
  • Excellent project management skills with proven track records of delivering sustainability initiatives
  • Act as go to person/advisor in regards to overall Retail Sustainability portfolio
  • Strong in engaging colleagues, partners and externals in delivering various waste initiatives
  • Ability to break down complexity and communicate it to executive leaders and a large organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to structure documents and quantitative analysis turning them into convincing storylines and presentations for executive level interaction

New Location Update
The current work location for this role is 501 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. In 2025, we will transition to our new permanent office location at 1001 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. Specific move dates for roles are to be determined and communicated in 2024.
