Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategy and development of Trade Marketing plans that uphold brand standards, support sales objectives and drive sell-through of products for designated account base - inclusive of in-store, digital, social, experiential activations, influencer programs, consumer promotions, sales associate contests and community engagement
- Account leadership of strategic accounts with key retailer accounts to maintain productive collaboration with retail partners
- Support account leads in activation plans and campaign management. Track success of implemented activation plans, document key findings and work with team to adjust plans as needed; test and learn and make fact-based decisions
- Manage designated US Trade Marketing budget, work with account teams to allocate strategically to key accounts and initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners inclusive of account teams, brand marketing, and channel teams as relevant (e.g. PR, media, social, influencer) to ensure marketing plans are connected and aligned to brand initiatives
- Drive creative direction for retailer-specific needs, while informing key internal and external stakeholders
- Stay current on industry trends, the competitive landscape and on consumer insights in order to identify new opportunities
- Manage and develop high-performing team of trade marketers
Play your part in our team succeeding
This role will be responsible for leading strategy, development, and execution for US Trade Marketing. This person will oversee the both the holistic strategy and execution for Trade Marketing in the US and account-specific marketing plans. Working closely with Key Account teams, eCommerce and US Brand Marketing, this leader will build fully integrated marketing plans to help drive sales at key national accounts, inclusive of Target and Walmart.
This role is a critical people leader within our US Marketing organization, leading a team of Trade Marketers and external partners (e.g. trade agencies).
Do you have what it takes?
- Minimum 10 years of Marketing experience with a focus on Trade Marketing (Wholesale, Retailer Marketing), a strong track record of business performance and significant people leadership experience
- Experience working with major, national retailers, both marketing and account teams
- Deep knowledge and passion for toy category, retail industry trends, competitive landscape, account-specific consumer and product
- Ability to work under pressure, manage daily deadlines, multiple projects, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent account management, budget management, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing and emerging trends, including retail media
- Ability to translate strategy into action, work collaboratively and excel at working cross-functionally
- Travel 10%

The current work location for this role is 501 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. In 2025, we will transition to our new permanent office location at 1001 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. Specific move dates for roles are to be determined and communicated in 2024.
