Job Description
Become a pivotal member of a dynamic retail team! We're thrilled to invite passionate individuals to lead central business planning for our global market group. We need someone to orchestrate the consolidation of growth and innovation strategies across various channels, collaborating with teams across the entire Retail Value chain to pioneer thrilling initiatives aimed at captivating a diverse global audience.
In close partnership with diverse teams and functions, the person in this role will champion the development and implementation of scalable, repeatable approaches to New Business model creation and deployment. This data-driven position will be instrumental in shaping business strategies and demand plans, integrating crucial discoveries into our forward-thinking initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the creation of new revenue stream models, facilitating their complex scaling across all retail channels in line with our long-term strategic objectives and growth ambitions.
  • Collaborate to build and validate commercial value hypotheses for New Business Models and revenue streams, ensuring a continuous pipeline of viable commercial strategies to support short and mid-term planning for LEGO Stores and LEGO.com.
  • Craft and own the omnichannel measurement framework for innovation and product performance, defining essential metrics and ensuring data availability for informed decision-making, prioritization, and optimization.
  • Work closely with Commercial Performance and A&I teams to develop and share new dashboards, fostering consistent learning and clarity across partner groups.
  • Take the lead on strategic cross-functional initiatives for LEGO Retail, coordinating various collaborators and operations to deliver exceptional experiences for shoppers.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Strong experience as an insights and analytics professional, collaborating and implementing both short and long-term strategies, at impactful consumer goods companies or retail direct-to-consumer brands.
  • Ability to apply consumer and shopper insights effectively to identify business growth opportunities and challenges, including analyzing trends and key audience segments, leading to actionable and commercially successful recommendations.
  • Proficiency in digital and physical retail analytics, encompassing data modeling, forecasting, and utilization of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and big data platforms.
  • Experience in defining crucial metrics and providing mentorship to partners on comprehensive analysis techniques.
  • Proficient in handling large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data from diverse sources and methodologies, including user research, shopper segmentation, Net Promoter Score, and product/category sales data.
  • Collaborative work history with physical product development teams, digital product teams, data science teams, and collaborators in business and marketing to achieve shared objectives.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced, agile environments, with the capability to navigate uncertainties, make informed decisions, and innovate new processes and workflows.
