ROLE SUMMARY
As the Senior Manager of Global Markets & Operations, you will work closely with the Senior Director of Global Markets & Operations to help develop, enable and implement initiatives that support Pfizer’s global policy and public affairs efforts across international markets.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage external agencies, including procurement activities, quarterly workplan development, day-to-day communication, and performance management.
Develop and implement a framework for tracking and allocating/prioritizing Global Policy & Public Affairs’ substantial external agency budget.
Review policy and geopolitical monitoring reports, flag priority issues/ trends, and support risk mitigation and management efforts.
Prepare executive briefing documents, including talking points, for senior leaders’ external engagement (including ELT/ELT-1).
Draft presentations on key policy and public affairs priorities for senior leaders.
Champion the policy prioritization exercise within the Global Markets team.
Lead the design and implementation of the Global Markets team’s internal engagement channels and develop initiatives to strengthen connections and develop a positive culture within the Global Markets team.
Develop resources and drive logistical planning for Global Markets meetings, including regional strategy meetings and workshops.
Support cross-functional communication and joint projects across Global Policy & Public Affairs and other Corporate Affairs teams (e.g., with Global Trade & Innovation Policy team and TA Public Affairs teams).
Lead/support special projects, including regional public affairs campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Must Have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field – Business, Journalism, Economics, International Relations, Public Policy, Law, etc.
7+ years of relevant work experience in a multinational company, a global consulting agency, and/or a pharmaceutical company preferred.
Ability to work within a matrixed environment.
Fluency in English with outstanding written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced PowerPoint skills.
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
