Grow your career as a Sr. Manager, Global Contracting & Promotions within Hyatt - Inclusive Collection, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the global strategy for business contracts on behalf of HIC Americas in collaboration with HIC EMEA and in conjunction for global sales and distribution teams. These duties include cross department and Hyatt corporate alignment to ensure best commercial terms for the organization are met, mitigating risk and overall costs to HIC distribution, acting liaison with HIC legal department and the oversite of the full contracting process.
A successful Sr. Manager, Global Contracting & Promotions will:
- Set strategy for end-to-end management of corporate promotional calendars and programs including execution with cross-departmental teams, external stakeholders, sales teams, and resort teams
- Oversee of leisure group process and contracts globally ensuring competitiveness in policies and procedures, while maximizing efforts with third party channels in conjunction with sales and distribution teams
- Lead team of 5 to achieve goals and projects related to department responsibilities.
- Lead several cross department task forces, such as Groups and Romance for feedback and collaboration resulting in competitive and unique programs
- Oversee corporate communication and notifications for any property enhancements or weather notifications
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by Director
Requirements:
- 5+ years of travel industry experience preferably with account management, resort contracting and product development/procurement
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years travel industry experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office tools
- Ability to create and conduct PowerPoint presentations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity
- Collaboration & team skills: with a focus on cross-group collaboration
- Strong project management skills
- Spanish speaking would be beneficial but not required
