Senior Manager, Fp&A Sterile Injectables, Pgs Finance

The Senior Manager, FP&A Sterile Injectables in PGS Finance is responsible for leading numerous FP&A initiatives, being the PGS Finance leader for financial systems/digital processes and being a key strategic business partner to and supporting the core financial activities of the Sterile Injectables Biotech Operations operating unit. Those activities include providing strategic business insight and financial guidance; development and coordination of the operating plan and financial strategies to achieve targets, forecast planning and decision-making on financial levers, financial reporting, and other financial analytics to support the PGS and SBO organizations.
Financial responsibility metrics: Providing strategic financial guidance and support of the budget process/operating plan development and forecast reporting/actual reporting for ~$5.6 billion of PGS expense.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic business insight and financial guidance to the Sterile Injectables Biotech Operations (SBO) organization as it relates to financial decisions and strategies to achieve financial goals.
• Support the SBO operating plan and provide financial guidance on target achievement and associated deliverables.
• Support the forecast process for SBO and provide guidance on forecast levers.
• Support the financial reporting of actual results for SBO.
• Coordinate restructuring treatment for SBO and provide business insight into potential restructuring opportunities and levers.
• Identify opportunities to simplify financial processes across SBO.
• Lead the oversight, management, and coordination of the PGS Finance InSite reporting tool to provide visibility to actual site expenses.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing support for the PGS Finance DaViD tool to provide dashboard visibility to financial results.
• Lead PGS Finance in the review and possible implementation of generative AI tools to simplify processes and drive efficiencies.
• Represent PGS Finance as the primary lead for all systems and digital tools specific to PGS Finance.
• Support the GMX Type 99 process in conjunction with the GMX team, BT and other members of the FP&A team, which seeks to control statistical cost changes in GMX and minimize the financial impact to various P&L's.
• Support the process to identify and eliminate inactive and obsolete data from the GMX production environment to allow for greater efficiencies during the annual budgeting process.
• Support the PGS network through the annual process of loading budgeted statistical costs into GMX and the subsequent validation of those costs in GMX to ensure that the data submitted by the PGS sites is aligned with the communicated budget standards and to improve the accuracy of the GMX database.
• Participate in PGS Finance's continuous improvement strategic initiative where we continuously evaluate PGS Finance processes and seek to identify and eliminate non-value or low-value activities.
• Serve as the PGS representative for Finance on Demand portal, a self-service portal where both Finance and non-Finance colleagues can access applications and information to get things done more easily.
• Develop and distribute global communications to the PGS Finance community providing key information and deliverables.
• Develop and publish guidance, process and policy documents for use by the PGS Finance community in their day-to-day operations.
• Lead critical elements of the PGS budget process to ensure successful achievement all of budget deliverables and deadlines.
• Lead the standard cost validation process as part of the annual sequential cost build.
• Support the PGS forecast process, the leveraging of the PGS Mosaic tool, and hte coordination with site finance colleagues on submissions.
• Support the annual FP&A SOX audit from Internal Audit and ongoing KPMG audits of financial processes.
• Other projects/assignments as directed by Director and Senior Director, Financial Planning and Analysis.

Required Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience, or 6 years with an MBA
• Expertise in statutory accounting and local GAAP procedures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational/negotiation skills and time management capability to prioritize multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Pharmaceutical industry experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, create and manage project timelines

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,900.00 to $189,700.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
