What You’ll Work On
Core Diagnostics has a new opening for Senior Manager Division Financial Planning and Consolidation. This leader is responsible for providing financial support and counsel to divisional senior finance and executive management in the following specific activities: Financial Planning And analysis, management financial reporting, internal controls and asset management. Comprehensively oversee, direct and coordinate all aspects of the global Division's Financial Planning processes aligned with Abbott Corporate and Core Dx. business requirements.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible to establish, develop and implement appropriate procedures to ensure the planning process provides an efficient and effective tool for senior management and that planning requirements and expected outcomes are achieved.
- Develop and orchestrate the planning timeline, calendar, and process.
- Manage and coordinate with senior staff the preparation of the management presentation and related backup/analysis. The presentation, backup, and analysis must be comprehensive and include the assessment of all data and assumptions used in the planning development for reasonableness and the degree of achievability of these forecasts. The integrity and validity of financial information is critical to the organization in making timely and informed business decisions which support Division/Corporate goals and objectives.
- Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the P&L and Investment data for all Plan and LBE's.
- Prepare various management presentations, relevant data, financial analyses, special projects and related consultation to senior divisional management in Planning And achieving short and long term financial objectives.
- Oversee and coordinate internal key management financial reporting for the Core Dx. division.
- Responsible for Financial Planning system operations and leadership of staff member responsible for day-to-day operations.
- Strong experience working with IT partners is a key to success in this role.
- Recruit, retain and mentor finance team members.
- Ensure finance team members have the appropriate training, coaching and rotational opportunities to develop broad based financial management professionals to support business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ experience in Accounting, Finance, and/or Business.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business highly desired.
- Knowledge of Abbott planning, reporting, And Consolidation systems.

The base pay for this position is $125,300.00 – $250,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
