The Senior Manager of the DSE Operations Center is responsible for providing 24/7 support to Disney Signature Experiences by maintaining situational awareness of business activities and associated impacts and effects, responding to incidents, and providing notification to business leaders for escalation and coordination. You will lead a team of operations management specialists and respond to incidents that are required by the company Safety Management System, security plans, and other standards and regulations. You will coordinate company drills and exercises to test the capabilities of the response to a variety of incidents, encompassing all phases of incident response and crisis communications. You will supervise the Manager - DSE Operations Center and the leadership and management of all cast members within that team. You will coordinate your work with other entities within the company that provide similar support functions, primarily the Global Security Communications Center and WDW Security Operations Center. You will work with the Manager-DSE Operations Center to equip and outfit the physical DSE Operations Center with sufficient systems and infrastructure needed to support DSE business requirements. Maintain key partnerships and strong relationships with DSE businesses and TWDC stakeholders. Develop and establish industry contacts with a focus on improving operational coordination, notifications and awareness.
You will report to the Vice President, Safety, Security, and Environmental Policy and Compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive contingency plans for each DSE business, working closely with business leaders to guide the response to a range of high-frequency/low consequence and low-frequency/high-consequence events
- Develop an exercise plan that incorporates workshops, drills, and exercises (table top and functional) to test the organizational capability to respond to incidents, establish and achieve objectives, and develop supporting plans that cover all aspects of response
- Serve as the facilitator of exercises, develop the exercise plan and objectives, and lead the organizational response process
- Lead the Manager of DSE Operations Center and cast member incident management specialists
- Execute responsibilities of the DSE Operations Center contained in company policies, including the Safety Management System, security plans and other documents
- Maintain awareness of factors that influence DSE businesses to remain attuned to new sources of information and reporting that will enhance situational awareness
- Continuously improve the support provided to DSE businesses
- Lead the development of budgets to support program goals and initiatives
- Partner with internal and external organizations to continuously improve the mission of the DSE Operations Center
- Develop performance metrics and KPIs for DSE Operations Center support activities and for supported businesses
- Undertake additional projects and work assignments as assigned by the VP-Safety, Security, and Environmental Policy and Compliance
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to provide simultaneous and tailored support to multiple businesses in a high-tempo, 24/7, global operational environment
- Demonstrated in-depth experience and familiarity with incident management, emergency management, and crisis communications programs
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead contingency planning and exercise programs
- Demonstrated ability to partner with multiple disciplines, businesses, and organizations to solve problems
- Demonstrated influence, communication and problem-solving skills with a high level of creativity and innovation
- Demonstrated strong relationship and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with multiple demands and competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Emergency Manager or equivalent
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or a field related to incident management, emergency management, or crisis communication
