Senior Manager, Digital Publishing acts as a critical "connector" with all Corporate Communications channel activities and functions. This person manages the legal/channel review of all content, and the editing, scheduling and posting of content on bms.com, social media, BMS World, Pulse, digital signage and more. This requires strong background/experience with the Workfront system and its processes and procedures, and the ability to determine compliance with company branding guidelines, AP Style, and editorial standards.
This Senior Manager will collaborate with Corporate Messaging and Content, Social Media, Creative, Digital Production and Enterprise Comms within the Corporate Communications function and liaise with all other stakeholders across the business to inform business decisions while working under deadline pressure and suggesting alternative approaches as needed.
Excellent writing and editing skills are required, with the ability to catch and correct mistakes before publishing. In addition, this person must have the ability to envision the holistic impact of all messaging being scheduled, ensuring optimal timing and/or synching of campaigns, to drive maximum uptake. As needed, they recommend strategies and support teams preparing for channel review.
Requires excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills. Due to the heavy workload and fast-paced nature of the job, ideal candidate would deal well with frequent changes, demonstrate patience and flexibility in their current role as well as proactive thinking.
Requirements
• 5-10 years of content management, including working and problem-solving for multiple stakeholders
• 10+ years demonstrating strong writing and editing skills, following AP Style
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workfront system, specifically for content review
• Working knowledge of writing, editing, scheduling and posting digital media such as website content, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter and TikTok
• Ability to work with demanding and sometimes difficult people across all functions
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment, solving problems and delivering under deadline pressure
• BA or BS degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Preferred candidates will have BMS experience working with the Workfront system.
