ACDI/VOCA is looking for a high-performing Corporate Compliance, Senior Manager to join the Accounting and Finance Team. The position will report into the Senior VP of Corporate Compliance and Accounting and manage Corporate Compliance and relationship management components of ACDI/VOCA and its affiliates’ home office and projects, globally, to ensure local business dealings are in line with company policies and procedures as well as government regulations. The ideal candidate must have a collaborative attitude with an in-depth understanding of typical transactional work of an international non-governmental organization (NGO).
- Industry-related Bachelor's degree required, JD preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Fluency in English required. Professional proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally required; may be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 based on country requirements.
The salary range for this position is $87,770 to $131,086; the candidate’s relevant experience and skills, as well as our internal equity, will be considered before an offer is extended.
- Research industry compliance regulations and policies.
- Evaluate internal operations and procedures related to Corporate Compliance.
- Manage the review process of Leases for field offices.
- Analyze existing Corporate Compliance policies and related documentation.
- Communicate Corporate Compliance policies and guidelines to management and designated departments.
- Develop and execute new Corporate Compliance policies and procedures as needed.
- Manage relationship with US registered agent to ensure proper maintenance of corporate registrations.
- Maintain communication with Corporate Compliance regulators.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain overseas corporate registrations.
- Develop and maintain a Corporate Compliance recordkeeping system.
- Train employees on internal Corporate Compliance policies and procedures.
- Keep up with Corporate Compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
- Manage the Power of Attorney process from the Accounting & Finance perspective and provide guidance to employees as necessary.
- Support audits including uniform guidance, financial statement and Cost Accounting Standards.

- Ability to host or attend in-person meetings when required.
