Job Overview

Our Productivity and Continuous Improvement Team is responsible for delivering AOP savings across all of Supply Chain.  This position will lead a subset of the productivity portfolio – interacting with a cross-section of Supply Chain teams on improvement projects and initiatives.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying a Continuous Improvement culture utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools to deliver annual productivity savings.  You will manage 3 direct reports who will each support functional aspects of the portfolio.  You will also lead large, complex projects, facilitate team meetings and senior leadership reviews, and coach teams to drive project execution. This position serves as a liaison between Functional Leads, Senior Leadership and Finance - as we validate and capture the business benefits of the project portfolio in our system (Planview).

 

What you will do:

  • Lead/Coach the Supply Chain teams to deliver the Productivity savings tied to AOP and meet our financial commitments.
  • Support the cadence of Squad, Function and Steerco activities by establishing an efficient and effective process based on the Agile methodology.
  • Ensure meeting excellence – clarity and accountability.
  • Facilitate milestone execution – do what we said we would.
  • Work with financial leadership to ensure integrity between AOP and Planview actuals.
  • Help prepare and build project updates, and executive level presentations.
  • Support the facilitation of brainstorming workshops, problem-solving sessions, and process mapping exercises to build our long-term productivity pipeline gain alignment on priorities.
  • Provide training and coaching support on Lean Six Sigma, project management, agile methods and other relevant skills
  • Become an expert in Planview (our system of record for productivity reporting) and create reports and dashboards to monitor and communicate status.
  • Support Project Managers in their tracking of project savings, including updating financial forecasts, managing stage gates, alignment on calculation methodologies and reporting actuals.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, mathematics, engineering, business, or related field required; Master’s degree in business, operations research, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Supply Chain related role.
  • Project management experience, PMP certification a plus.
  • Experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools such as A3s, process mapping, root cause analysis, Kaizen facilitation and statistical analysis.
  • Be a coach – help team members learn and develop. Be comfortable giving feedback, build rapport and connection with all those you interact with. Model integrity and commitment.
  • Be a ‘World Class Communicator’ – ensure meetings are organized, with clear agenda. Document/publish minutes and actions. Resolve conflict and bottlenecks directly and timely, message to leadership as applicable.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Point & Excel including other Microsoft suite products.  Power BI experience a plus.
  • Detailed and deadline-orientated to meet regular and periodic needs of the business for accurate and timely information.
  • Strong capability to review and sense-check results so that analysis is right the first time.
  • Must be able to create a professional presentation of results, including determining results-first or results-last approaches, ability to construct results that “tell a story”, and ability to lead an audience to the proper conclusions or decisions relevant to the situation.
  • Expert analytical capabilities including advanced knowledge of Excel and demonstrated competence with data.
  • This position will be based in our Frisco, TX headquarters and will require ~25% travel.
