Charles Schwab's Marketing, Planning, & Operations group handles and drives the strategy, planning, and operations and risk management for the Marketing organization. Marketing continues to centralize risk management functions creating a center of excellence that can better support the Marketing organization.
The Marketing Risk Sr. Manager position will partner with other Risk professionals and take the lead on managing multiple Corporate Risk documents, capturing, and validating execution of controls, and consolidating reports which Marketing is responsible. This role will proactively conduct RCSA control reviews, assessments, and RCAT testing. The Risk Manager has the responsibility of staying current on business and regulatory changes that impact Marketing and will proactively propose updates to ensure reports/documents are updated reflecting current conditions and processes, to reduce risk exposure for the business. This person will report into the Director of Marketing Risk and collaborate across all levels of Marketing and the respective contacts in the Corporate Risk departments (examples: Operational Risk Management, Records Retention, 1RMO, Compliance, Audit, Business Continuity).
What you have
Series 7 and 24 licenses preferred
Must have experience with Schwab compliance, marketing, or risk processes either as a current or former associate or contractor
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
A highly collaborative working style effectively establishing trust and respect
Highly organized with high detail orientation
Excellent process and project management skills
Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines and be effective and decisive under pressure
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
Exceptional client focus and a demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships inside and outside the organization
Strong emotional intelligence/maturity
BS/BA degree required
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
