- Manage manufacturing and/or production operations including assembly, machinery, processing and/or packaging.
- Set production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing resources, and volume required to meet demand and to ensure maximum production quantity and quality.
Job Sub Family Description - Develop, designs and plans equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines.
- Evaluate worker productivity and recommends improvements to increase manpower efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control/reductions.
- Develop metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output, and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
- Establish accident prevention measures, and plans and schedule straining programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operation.
- Ensure year-to-year productivity gain: scouts, fosters and controls implementation of productivity projects at the manufacturing sites, Lead Automation and Operating Team at Sites for Development and Implementation of Standardized Automation Soft- and Hardware and Implementation of Optimized Working Procedures for Non-automated Areas.

a relevant vocational training (3+ years) and a particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification - A relevant completed study with a duration of 4 years and subject-specific additional qualification or by a relevant completed study (+4 years)
the total knowledge and skills can also be acquired in other ways
9+ years relevant working experience, thereof 3+ years relevant management experience
