Description
As the Senior Manager of Business Operations and Analytics, your primary responsibility will involve close collaboration with sales leaders, marketing teams, customer service, and the development of analytical models to generate actionable insights for sales leaders. The key focus is to enhance Sales Cadence and Forecast accuracy, while also providing valuable insights into potential risks and opportunities.
In this role, you will lead a team dedicated to planning and executing analytics, effectively communicating findings to various stakeholders. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying data gaps, and you will be tasked with devising strategies to address and bridge these gaps. Your strategic mindset will extend to identifying go-to-market strategies, managing program spend, devising sales compensation plans, creating pricing models, and conducting A/B testing. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing strategic discounts to optimize product pricing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops recommendations from complex data and business analyses and formulates them into business plans.
- Drives the construction of highly innovative statistical and financial models to inspect new aspects of business performance.
- Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance and recommends the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps.
- Design and execute an analytics plan that informs the broader Sales Technology strategy, business strategy, & technology roadmap
- Conduct advanced analyses of user and product behavior that drive the efficiency & automation of our sales people
- Establish and maintain tracking of key input metrics for the Sales Tech Team, identifying trends/changes, correlations to business outcomes, and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Partner tightly with our Product Management & Design team, helping steer & understand how our users engage with our product
Qualifications:
- 10+years of experience designing and implementing highly visible, complex, and innovative analytical solutions that drive business decision making.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative field or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience supporting Sales or Marketing Experience in reporting and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Business Objects, etc.
- Extensive experience in A/B testing, experimentation methodologies, and statistical analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience with A/B testing platforms, analytical tools, and data visualization tools.
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence peers, key stakeholders and leaders.
- Expert at working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas).
- Ability to plan and set a strategy, define Organizational Key Results (OKRs), communicate and drive business outcomes.
- Mastery of SQL, Python, and other scripting/automation techniques.
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software is preferred.
