Senior Maintenance Tech

Job Purpose
This position is responsible for the preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities reporting to the Engineering Services group. (Not intended to be an all-inclusive list)
Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repair of all Test Lab equipment.
• Perform daily Preventive Maintenance work on all equipment including, but not limited to Dynamometers, Hydraulic pumps/ linear and rotary actuators,misc. testing equipment, manufacturing and assembly equipment, Materials testing equipment and other test and manufacturing departments.
• Basic troubleshooting and repair of all Test Lab electrical systems.
• Assist in the Development and maintaining of a preventive, predictive and corrective Maintenance system
• Assist in Special Projects, coordination of inventory, and building test systems
• Utilize preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance tools and techniques such as vibrations and oil analysis, thermographic imaging, ultrasonic andelectrical diagnostics for accessing the condition of the equipment and developing maintenance schedule to prevent catastrophic failures.
• Participate in annual Calibration / PM system audits.
• Assist and perform calibration activities.
• Maintain PM procedures, work instruction and checklists to ensure proper timing and methods are followed based on equipment type and manufacturerrequirements.
• Assist with scheduling the preventive, predictive, corrective and calibration activities
• Maintain required technical documentation for the position.
• Responsible for cost savings initiatives for PM and calibration.
• Provide off-shift support when needed.

Qualifications Desired:

• 2 year Technology Degree - preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of electrical troubleshooting experience required
• Experience troubleshooting / repair of testing equipment preferred.
• Dynamometer troubleshooting and repair experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repair of Hydraulic systems and servo controlled actuators - preferred.
• Experience in Preventive, Predictive and Corrective Maintenance and use of calibration equipment, tooling and database
• Self-directed, motivated, and organized individual who is willing to accept responsibility and complete tasks on time.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Willingness to work overtime or off-shifts as requested
• Must be team oriented
