CVS/Aetna's Analytics and Behavior Change Team delivers strategically impactful programs and tools that expand convenient access to high-quality and affordable care for all members across multiple channels across all stages of life.
This position is for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) role in the Analytics and Behavior Change group. We employ data science and Machine Learning models, to deliver personalized nudges to improve member health and encourage healthy actions. The candidate will work with a team of data scientists to develop analytics module with a full suite of A/B testing features, build machine leaning models to provide real time next best action for users and create a self-learning optimization engine.
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will

  • Work closely with data scientists, software developers and product managers to take ML-powered services from inception to production
  • Lead exploration, design and execution of Machine Learning models and frameworks that deliver value to our users.
  • Build data pipelines and leverage high-quality datasets to power your Machine learning models
  • Utilize modern software and data-engineering stacks to enable training, deployment, and lifecycle management of ML models.
  • Lead the performance and ongoing enhancements of your products.

Required qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in python development.
  • 3+ years of experience in production grade software development
  • 3+ years of experience with MLOps, Model training, inference and Model Serving.
  • 2+ years of experience with exploratory data analysis and building applied Machine Learning models.
  • 2+ years of experience using large scale data processing using Spark/cloud-based solution.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Great communication and cross-team collaboration skill

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with GCP and/or other Public Clouds(AWS/AzureGCP).
  • Proficiency in with Python is highly preferred.
  • Experience with big data, preferably using Spark, Hadoop and Hive.
  • Experience working on the large scale deep learning models for production.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a Plus
  • Experience in Large language model productionization.
  • Experience with modern software-engineering practices

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related discipline.
  • Master's degree or PhD preferred.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$94,500.00 - $196,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
