Job Description:
Position Overview: As a Senior Placement Advisor at "A Life for Seniors" in St George, Utah, you will play a crucial role in assisting seniors and their families in finding the best Senior Living options that match their unique needs and preferences. Your expertise in senior care and housing will be instrumental in providing guidance, support, and peace of mind to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Client Consultation: Conduct in-depth consultations with seniors and their families in the St George area to understand their specific needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- - Senior Housing Research: Stay updated on Senior Living communities, assisted living facilities, memory care units, nursing homes, and other relevant senior housing options in the area.
- - Assessment and Recommendations: Assess the physical, emotional, and financial needs of clients and recommend suitable senior housing options within the region accordingly.
- - Facility Tours: Arrange and facilitate visits to Senior Living communities for clients, providing guidance and answering questions during the tours.
- - Advocacy: Act as an advocate for clients in the area, ensuring their best interests are represented throughout the Senior Living selection process.
- - Network Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with Senior Living communities, healthcare providers, and other relevant professionals in the senior care industry.
- - Stay Informed: Continuously educate yourself about industry trends, regulations, and changes in senior care services specific to the region.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Senior Living placement, social work, healthcare, home health/ hospice or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic, patient, and compassionate attitude.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with local senior housing options and resources in the area is a plus.
- Proficient in computer applications and record-keeping.
