Your opportunity

  • Lead on content ideation, origination and publication for the JHI Solutions Group. This includes working closely with Matt Peron as group lead, Adam Hetts, Lara Reinhard, Matt Bullock and the wider PCS Team, the Adaptive Team, and, where appropriate, the UK Multi Asset Team
  • Partner with investment thought leadership writers to ensure client implementation and solutions themes are a key consideration across the broader JHI content narrative. Help implement the three 'I's' framework within the broader JHI content narrative - Insight, Implication, Implementation
  • Craft and originate collateral - including web articles, whitepapers, macro slide deck and charts, podcasts, videos, and placed media articles that showcase differentiated Solutions insights and themes
  • Broaden the reach of our Solutions thought leadership across the adviser and institutional spectrum and across regions as the Solutions offering expands to a global audience
  • Maintain and leverage a strong understanding of thinking across JHI's focus list investment teams to inform Solutions material
  • Ensure visibility of content being worked on via the global content roadmap to allow its use to be maximized globally. Collaborate with the broader content team as required
  • Perform research to support content development, including interviews, fact checking, gathering, and interpreting financial data
  • Take content from concept through completion, including coordination of necessary compliance reviews and oversight of the production process to ensure timely delivery
  • Understand compliance requirements across the various distribution channels and help ensure all requirements are met
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
  • An expert in investment writing with more than 10 years' experience
  • An expert in chart origination and curation. High level of Bloomberg skill essential
  • A creative thinker. Able to challenge dogma and think outside of normal processes
  • A resourceful individual with the ability to research and data mine to build exhibits that support stories
  • Strong planning and implementation skills
  • A self-starter with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Nice to have skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • WordPress experience
  • Educated to degree level, with economics or similar relevant degree preferable
  • Financial qualifications - IMC as a minimum, CFA preferable, or minimum 10 years of industry experience

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
