What You Bring to the Table
Richey May is looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join our Alternative Investments – Cryptocurrency group. As a Senior Tax Associate, you will analyze the US federal and state tax impact of Blockchain, Crypto and Digital Currencies (BCDC) and special initiatives, perform detailed reviews of tax research, agreements, work papers and tax filings. You are someone that possesses technical knowledge sufficient to assist staff associates.
What You Would Do
Our Senior Tax Associates will assist clients with legal entity structuring, token analysis, deal analysis, revenue recognition, and sourcing and implementation of clients tax objectives. You will play a key role in the success of the group by guiding tax staff and interns through completion of projects, training when necessary and demonstrating competency in technical skills, work quality and application of professional and firm standards.
Qualifications
- Attained a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Two or three years related experience and/or training
- Financial Services experience highly preferred
- CPA license, licensed attorney, or working toward CPA licensure
- Must be able to communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Oversee and review associates working on engagements
Pay
$62,000 - $94,000 per year
