Senior Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer | Ts/Sci

What you will be working on: 

As the Senior Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer, you will work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains.  The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad application stacks and data services. 

• O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments
• Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps
• Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online
• Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them
• Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
• Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack
• Compile detailed documentation
• Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Python, Shell scripting, Git (desired)
• Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS
• CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps
• Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general

Desired Certifications:

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift

What you will bring to us: 

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph 
• Current DoD IAT II Level certificationor the ability to successfully obtain one within 90 days of hire 

Would be nice if you bring the following: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
• 10+ years Developer experience
