The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR best practices, employee relations, recruitment, training, and compliance within a multi-location high volume restaurant environment. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HR-related matters including employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee recruitment efforts for all positions within the organization, ensuring effective sourcing, screening, and selection processes.
- Lead initiatives to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention across all locations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, EEOC guidelines, and safety standards.
- Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, to attract and retain top talent.
- Conduct regular audits of HR policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with senior management to address organizational challenges and develop strategies for growth and improvement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for all employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, with a focus on the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of success in multi-unit HR management, overseeing HR functions across multiple locations.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance in a complex, multi-state environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business results and enhance employee engagement.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
- Ability to travel to various locations as needed.
