Overview:
SVP is looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager of DVM Recruitment to join our rapidly growing team. The Senior Talent Acquisition Manager will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and will lead a team of six experienced professionals. The candidate will be responsible for building and managing strategic programs and projects focused on proactively identifying, targeting, and engaging talent across the company’s footprint. The successful candidate will make a strategic impact by creating and implementing programs that build SVP’s ability to find and engage the best prospects in the marketplace. The candidate will bring a proven track record of hiring at scale, building systemic solutions and programs that support enterprise growth, and automating and innovating. This position is highly analytical and will need to leverage data to form insights and make informed decisions.

This role requires high passion and prior success in maturing a recruiting organization to scale. You will use your strong influencing and innovation skills to manage recruiting projects and programs from beginning to end, working in partnership with internal and external clients.
Responsibilities / Qualifications:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted partnerships with senior leadership, hiring managers, TA organization, HR and other functions to influence decision-making for positive outcomes by utilizing metrics
  • Determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts
  • Develop Talent Acquisition strategies and hiring plans
  • Identify inefficient recruiting processes and escalate issues quickly by partnering with key stakeholders in TA and the business
  • Hold recruiters accountable in support of business goals and objectives by utilizing recruiting metrics to drive results
  • Become a subject matter expert of our ATS – iCIMS
  • Ensure the team is trained and has the resources to source candidates
  • Partner with business leaders to build and maintain an effective workforce plan
  • Set vision, direction, and priorities through the development and execution of a strategic roadmap
  • Build programs that improve the hiring of internal and external talent
  • Lead and execute employment marketing plans to drive up candidate flow for targeted positions
  • Create, teach, and foster diversity and inclusion best practices in all aspects of selection, assessment, and hiring
  • Lead innovative experiments that drive efficiency and scale
  • Utilize analytical thinking to diagnose business challenges and identify hiring trends
  • Facilitate new program launches and training to hiring managers and field leadership

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
  • 5+ years’ experience creating and managing recruiting programs and processes
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven track record of building from scratch and utilizing a data-driven approach
  • Experience with an Application Tracking System (iCIMS preferred)
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule in Birmingham, AL
