The Opportunity

The Sr. HRIS Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day functional management and optimization of the human resources information system (UKG) including modules for compensation, benefits, payroll, performance management, learning management, talent acquisition, and survey administration. The Sr. HRIS Analyst will also partner with the IT application owner to maintain a backlog of enhancements, assist in prioritizing enhancements, gather business requirements, test the solution functionality, and ensure a successful deployment to deliver a exceptional candidate and employee experience. They will also be responsible for day to day governence and audits of data integrity within the technology.

What you'll do

  • Partner with HR and IT to analyze work flow design, implement new and improved processes, , and ensure return on technological capabilities.
  • Utilize BI to design, develop, and interpret reports, including dashboards, to provide HR and business leaders with user-friendly, secure access to reliable information needed to inform decisions and transact operations.
  • Research and resolve user issues. Partner with IT where technical fixes are required.
    • Validate and troubleshoot interfaces and file transfers with IT and/or vendor partners as applicable.
    • Identify and resolve configuration issues to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage user help tickets and partner with IT on submission and management of UKG help tickets.
  • Continually evaluate and provide thought leadership around necessary improvements and enhancements to meet business needs.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures and training for users.
  • Support HRIS deployment or integration in the event of mergers, acquisitions, or other significant organizational structure changes.
  • Assign and manage access for users ensuring SOX compliance.
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, IT and others to design and conduct routine audits to ensure data and system integrity. Coach and support HR and payroll team members on maintaining data integrity.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology and HRIS applications.
  • Active participant in Gibraltar’s HR Technology prioritization and review board.
  • Compile data and complete annual reports, (e.g., AAP, EEO, VETS 4212).

What we need

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field of study.
  • 3+ Years of HRIS Experience
  • Ability to professionally handle and maintain the integrity of confidential materials and associated issues.
  • Strong analytical and data driven decision making skills with an unwavering attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaborative settings.

Technical Skills: Experience with Ultimate Software (UKG Pro) or Kronos strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work at desk for prolonged periods of time.

Environment: Office

Travel: 5%-10% domestic travel

Special Work Conditions: Hybrid work schedule with minimum of two days per week in Cincinnati, OH or Westmont, IL office whichever is more convenient to qualified candidate.
