Opportunity:
The Sr. Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for the design, delivery and implementation of Leadership Development solutions for Kohler leaders. Focus will be on providing programming for new leaders, middle leaders, and experienced leaders new to leading at Kohler. This individual will work closely with key stakeholders including HR business partners and senior leadership across business functions, tailor solutions for Kohler’s leaders and business needs, measure results, and enhance offerings based on analytics and insights.
Targets
- Program Development: Design, develop, and implement leadership development programs and initiatives that align with Kohler’s key beliefs. This includes identifying stakeholders, conducting needs assessments, creating learning objectives, establishing budgets, identifying third-party partners, leveraging existing content, developing nomination criteria, and recommending KPIs for measurement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders to define needs and translate business requirements into program objectives. Work in partnership with senior leaders, HR, and Kohler Talent Academy (KTA) to align goals and objectives for each leadership program.
- Program Implementation: Manage and execute successful implementation of programs. Consult with HR and Senior Leaders on program nominations and manage resources, communications, program set-up/logistics, content delivery, measurement strategy, sustainment strategy, and budget.
- Evaluation and Measurement: Leverage Kohler’s partnership with Metrics-That-Matter to measure program effectiveness and impact on the business. Analyze measurement data to measure program outcomes and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Create and implement a reporting strategy for stakeholders.
- Best Practice and Continuous Improvement Focus: Keep current of best practices, industry trends, advancements in leadership development practices, and innovative programs to ensure that Kohler’s strategies and initiatives provide a competitive edge. Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality and increase efficiency in area of responsibility.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum 7+ experience in a Talent Development or Learning & Development role with a Global organization.
- Demonstrated, end-to-end project/program management experience: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance/monitoring, and project close.
- Strong facilitation skills and experience driving talent/learning initiatives and building relationships that gain buy-in and commitment to the value of development initiatives.
- Ability to establish credibility and build collaborative partnerships with all levels of management and individuals across a broad range of business groups.
- Experience in aligning projects, tasks, and goals with departmental and organizational strategy.
- Excellent written, visual, and interpersonal communication skills.
- May be up to 10-20% travel.

The salary range for this position is $113,900 - $145,550. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
