What you will do
The Senior Director of Global Security will be responsible for developing a dynamic vision for the Global Security team that has an eye toward the future, is grounded in the realities of today's competitive landscape and embraces emerging trends. Our Global Security team is responsible for protecting over 100,000 employees and more than 1500 locations in more than 150 countries. You will manage a multitude of risks to enable our growing organization to become more resilient and be better prepared. You will be responsible for defining global risks, assessing vulnerability, and assisting management with the implementation of efficient and cost-effective countermeasures designed to mitigate business risks and protect our people and assets. This includes global responsibility for all aspects of physical security, personnel security, employee protection, business continuity management, crisis management, executive protection, investigations, and security administration.
In addition, this role has ownership of global Security standards, processes and technologies and will support mergers and acquisitions.

How You Will Do It:
You and your team will be responsible for the following:
  • Developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive Global Security strategy and program.
  • Maturing our physical security program, including:
    • Guard force selection, management and KPIs.
    • Physical security monitoring and access control, including tools and processes to support.
    • Traveler security and medical lift resources.
  • Managing the investigation program to ensure that investigative resources are deployed appropriately, and investigations are conducted in a legal, ethical, and professional manner, as well as ensuring that the investigations are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Producing a world class program for workplace violence prevention preparedness.
  • Leading the relationship building with law enforcement agencies on behalf of the company.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with all Financial Stakeholders, Service Providers, and Cross Functional business partners to drive Global Security's strategic investments inclusive of capital, annual budgets, HC, contract negotiations and supplier relationships.
  • Leading security functional excellence and championing new security processes, systems, analytics, and technology.
  • Supporting M&A transactions by working collaborative with identified stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Developing, implementing, and leading a Holistic Emergency Management program, integrating emergency response and preparedness, a global response center, our crisis action management program and business continuity management.

What We Look For:
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in business, emergency management or related field.
  • 10 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong executive presence and demonstrated success presenting to a Board of Directors.
  • High ability to influence internally and externally, with expertise in cross-matrix organization collaboration.
  • Keen business judgement and creativity in problem solving.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience leading global teams.
  • Proven track record of attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
