- Master of Science degree in Civil or Ocean Engineering with an emphasis on nearshore, coastal and offshore studies assessing Geotechnical Engineering qualities of the seafloor in support of characterization, design and construction.
- Maintain and update the software and interface documentation.
- Assist in testing, and troubleshooting the software, develop new analysis algorithms to expand the use of the application, and assist in writing test plans, manuals, and test procedures to deliver the system to the field.
- Perform general geotechnical numerical modeling and provide support of physical modeling / testing, including instrumentation, data acquisition and reporting.
- Participate in Integrated Project Teams (IPT) for offshore testing of a new geotechnical survey suite and update and provide training materials and technical manuals necessary for delivery of the system to the field.
- Participate in IPTs and design reviews for alternate configurations, provide additional support for technical refresh of the application, and shall design, fabricate, test and deliver hydrophone interface amplifier cards and associated data acquisition hardware for the system.
- Develop analytical methods for impact settlement, long term breakout, and other seafloor interactions necessary to support new analysis methods
