Senior Front Desk Receptionist - Dermatology

We are a professional, supportive and busy Dermatology practice in Chevy Chase seeking full-time mature, stable, HIGHLY EXPERIENCED (10 year minimum) Medical Receptionist / Front Desk team member. We work closely together as a team throughout the day to make sure every patient has an excellent experience. Our days go fast, as we are busy. Constant, pro-active communication is key to our success. Our patients love us, and we love them back.

*** We require a minimum of 10 years of Medical Front Desk Reception experience to be eligible for this position. If you do not have that amount of experience, please do not apply. Dermatology experience is a plus.***

Responsibilities include:

- reporting to the Front Desk Manager, working closely together throughout the day

- being a key part of a large motivated admin team

- sharing a positive, "what can I do to help" attitude with all patients and staff

- checking patients in and out

- scheduling appointments

- answering phones

- confirming insurance and referrals

- collecting co-pays and balances

- working closely with providers and medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

- jumping in to help out where needed throughout each day

- reporting to the Front Desk Supervisor and Practice Administrator
