Senior Financial Operations Coordinator

This position is part of the Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) Accounting team, located in Springfield, MO, and is responsible for supporting the billing and cash allocation process for EAN partners. Responsibilities include supporting the month-end closing process, the audit of daily billing statements, creating and allocating receipts of cash, and assisting with daily email communication with partners, account managers and other internal and external customers.

What you'll do:

  • Processing receipts using Oracle and Excel
  • Allocate payments to partner accounts and transactions
  • Record payments in transit daily
  • Researching and responding to affiliate payment inquiries
  • Audit partner statements
  • Assist with creating and modifying partners in Oracle
  • Assist with month-end journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations and reporting
  • Assist with providing support of annual internal and external audit requests
  • Identify and initiate improvements and technical solutions to improve processes
  • Ability to work well with other departments
  • Meet departmental expectations/deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned

Who you are:

  • You have strong Excel skills and experience with other Microsoft products
  • You have a good understanding of basic accounting, and the desire to take on more challenging items such as contract reconciliation and data analysis
  • You are a self-starter who is confidential, detail oriented, and creative with a passion for best practices
  • You have good communication skills and the ability to work across departmental and company boundaries with internal and external customers
  • Associates degree in accounting or in a related field preferred or related equivalent professional experience
  • Two years of previous accounting and reconciliation experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of basic programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical skills
  • Positive attitude, goal-oriented, and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dependable, flexible, and ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Must be a quick learner, self-motivated and a team player
The total cash range for this position in Springfield is $39,000.00 to $54,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $62,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
