Your Role
The Banking and Cash Management (BCM) Senior Financial Analyst at VS&Co is responsible for moderate to highly complex accounting activities related to the management of and accounting for store payment processing activities The SFA will oversee the cash team (4 associates) and support them with problem solving, day-to-day activities and development. In addition, SFA will own budgeting, forecasting and analysis related to payments related to this space. The role requires interactions with brand finance leaders and teams, technology, internal and external auditors, other cross-functional teams, and various 3rd party processors and service providers. Position reports to Manager, Banking and Cash Management.

Your Impact
- BCM “face to the brand” and key contact to other departments
- Provide budget and forecast information, as well as variance analysis and risk/opportunity updates around store cash and corporate banking
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as requested by brand partners
- Coach and Support 4 accountants in day-to-day activities, including: Support brand initiatives, including new technology releases and enhancements, brand expansion to new regions, etc.
- Lead troubleshooting and analysis: set the pace and tone for the team
- Responsible for the ongoing development and engagement of team
- Provide functional advice and training to team members
- Review and approve journal entries to ensure appropriate accounting each month
- Ensure appropriate internal controls are documented, effective, and executed as defined
- Identify areas of opportunity/weakness and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiency in a controlled environment
- Proactively identify issues or trends and highlight them to leadership, with recommended solutions
- Work with internal/external auditors on all audit matters for assigned responsibilities
- Follow up, monitor, and report on on-going initiatives and issues timely
- Handle various special projects as assigned
Minimum Salary : $81,000.00
Maximum Salary : $110,250.00
VS&Co provides an estimated range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual compensation will be determined by a number of relevant factors, including but not limited to your specific skills, experience, & geographic location.
QualificationsYour Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills: concisely present complex information / recommendations in terms targeted to various audiences
- Excellent customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interface with senior management
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, dynamic team-oriented environment is important
- Ability to establish and maintain positive partnerships and influence others required
Additional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 4-6 years accounting, financial analysis and/or auditing experience preferred; public accounting firm and/or large corporate accounting a plus; supervisory experience a plus
- Advanced degree, CPA or MBA a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, MicroStrategy and PowerPoint are important
