We are looking for a motivated individual to join our financial team! As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a financial business partner through analytical support and process leadership to the corporate finance team and stakeholders in support of the company's goals and objectives. The individual will be accountable for a diverse set of FP&A responsibilities that support stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of the organization. The role will be tasked with developing, interpreting, and implementing financial and accounting concepts or techniques related to month end closing, reporting, consolidation, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and insightful analytics to drive business results.
Requirements
- Understand the strategic direction of the company's businesses and execute functional strategies to support and enhance business results; be knowledgeable of project work that supports this direction and the associated business implications.
- Partner with all levels within the finance organization to achieve department objectives.
- Leads the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the company.
- Collaborates with finance and business leaders in developing actionable plans and forecasts.
- Provides competitive and objective insights, timely reporting, effective analysis, and overall finance decision support to ensure productive management reviews, financially based decision-making, and proactive response to market conditions.
- Active participant in the monthly close process in conjunction with the accounting team.
- Gather, compile, analyze, prepare, and summarize data for complex financial projects and subjects.
- Provide concise and effective reporting and analysis of financial results in a timely manner covering the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.
- Lead the continuous improvement of financial systems, tools, and methodologies.
- Support the process of ensuring that there is an effective and efficient system of internal controls, including data integrity, asset protection, segregation of duties, budgeting, financial reporting, information systems and adherence to corporate policies and governmental regulations.
- Inspires teamwork to maximize the performance of Style Crest and the development of others.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant discipline
- 5+ years progressive financial analysis experience in a manufacturing/distribution/corporate environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and implement process improvements.
- Extensive experience utilizing advanced functionality of Microsoft Office Suite.
